Aikawa Nanase

  • Back in the day before the Metallica/Recording Industry's crackdown on Napster and other file-swapping services, I had downloaded a bunch of tracks by an artist I only know as Aikawa Nanase, but I know nothing else about her.
    1) Is she still performing/making albums?
    2) Any U.S. distributors have albums of hers, especially old ones, available for purchase?
    3) If she's still performing, will she consider a U.S. tour in the Northern East Coast (namely, New York)
    4) Is she single??!! :blush:
    (okay, I just threw that in there! I saw pics of her and she looks cute to me!)

  • ahhh she is pretty hot =) um... so i went to check up for stuff bout her... and yea.. apparently she seems to be active still... i dunno bout her situation with U.S. but she is married and has a son...

  • hm as far as the pretty thing goes, i wouldnt agree with pretty but her music is really good


  • November last year she released an EP to celebrate her tenth anniversary as a singer. It featured some great guest artists like Shinya (ex-Luna Sea), D.I.E. (ex-Spread Beaver), Pata (ex-X-Japan), Shin Murohime (ex-Mad Capsule Markets) and Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth), who also toured with her recently.

    After ten years she's still a very popular artist.

    but it's in Japanese...

    It mentions a tour 2006 though, so yeah, looks like she's still active! :p
