Hard drive spin down & screensaver
i've noticed on the latest builds i have done from the cvs repositry that when i select any other screensaver other than a blank screen, the hard drive will not spin down (i have it set to spin down after 20 mins).
if i select a blank screensaver, all is well.

not sure what you mean exactly. i do a cvs checkout from /cvsroot/xbmc on sourceforge and then build it.

can't remember these details exactly as it's been so long since i modded it (haven't opened the xbox since!). i remember its a chameleon modchip. the xbox is version 1.4 i think. standard hard drive.
may well just have to live with a blank screen saver as i don't want my hard drive spinning 24 hours a day!
the annoying problem i have is that the screen saver refuses to engage for me, unless i preview it manually.... but hey ho, i'm living with it.
