What can i wear with a polo shirt on the bottom that are not jeans?
any advice?
My friend wears skirts when she doesn't feel like wearing jeans and it looks very cute :) The plaid ones look very cute, or just plain colors!
You can go to sportswear->womens->clothing and look at a couple of the ones that have polos. But anyways, polos would look great with nice beige or navy or whatever (any neutral) pant/trouser. Doesn't have to be denim. It actually looks almost better to avoid the denim and keep the whole preppy look going throughout the outfit.
If you want to know which kinds of skirts would look best with a polo, I would obviously steer clear of really girly or flowy kind of skirts because they contradict the whole polo/sporty/boyish vibe. You could do a sportswear version pencil skirt (as in, not overly stiff fabric/business attire).
What I think is absolute amazing is a polo dress... if you love polos and love skirts you can definitely pull this off!

They can be worn on their own, or layered crazy with leggins and boots and scarves and jackets. Think the styling on the Lacoste site again... those models looks awesome and are all just wearing really casual sportswear items!
