I'm writing a novel right now. I orginally planned to have it focus on a college-aged girl who goes through the tough times of love, lies, deception, heartbreak, sex, back-stabbing... the whole bit. But I also wanted to throw in a paranormal twist where some of the aquaintences in her life are either angels or demons, and she can feel them and see them for who they are only AFTER they spend a good amount of time in her life.
Now my question is, should I have this aspect in my novel at all? Or should I just leave it being chick-lit? Without the paranormal stuff, it's almost a lighthearted humourous book...
what is more entertaining?They both sound entertaining...it will depend on the actual story development and the writing, stuff like that. Go with what you feel you can do a better job of writing because a good idea can fail if not executed well.i think you should add it in it makes the story so much more exciting and it would also give it a bit of an edge in my opinion something different from your every day book! you know??
